Breakie for Protein Lovers

Well, there's not much to this post, I just wanted to share my delicious meal ;) 

As you know by now, I must start my day with protein. This meal is jam-packed with protein: 2 scrambled eggs, 2 strips of bacon (thick cut nitrate & antibiotic free), 2 almond flour waffles and cinnamon coconut pear.  

For the pears:

1/2 of a pear, sliced
1 tbls coconut oil
Dash of cinnamon
Tiny Dash of nutmeg
2 tbls water

Method: 

In a small sauce pan, heat the coconut oil on medium-low. Add in the pear slices, cinnamon and nutmeg. When they begin to get soft, add in the water. Heat on low for another few minutes stirring frequently. 

The pears were a nice side to this protein-filled breakfast. I also had a tiny drizzle of 100% pure maple syrup on my waffles. Be sure if you use maple syrup that its only maple syrup and use sparingly...
